This hotel is very central but crowded so you need to book upfront,the checkin took time as it was a busy time ,the rooms were very very large and the food was very very good and I was very very happy .We booked a tour to the taj mahal from them as they boasted of a lonely planet recomended tour set up it was also good,im adding a seperate review for my travels though.
hope this helps some of you planning a simply awesome trip to the capital city of india.

Best service ever !

Ajanta Hotel

I stayed with my wife and two little ones in the family room for one week. The room was clean, spacious, and comfortable and the hotel was very well presented... I loved the food, and especially the breakfast. I would definitely tell my friends to stay there on their visit to Delhi. Reception was always polite, and all the staff treated every guest with royal touch. The team was so good, it was sad to say goodbye.

My stay was a short one day trip to Delhi and I found the Mapleinn a value for money option. Its proximity to the heart of Delhi and the Railway Station make it highly accessible. The staff are extremely helpful and service was prompt at the room and at the coffee shop. I would rate its amongst the best in its category

AN EXPERIENCE TO CHERISH-WILL COME BACK AGAIN

My stay was a short two day trip to Delhi and I found the Ajanta a value for money option. I called up the hotel at 1 AM-IST from Bangalore for my reservation for the next day morning.The call was answered on the second ring and the staff was very courteous,took down all the details and immediately confirmed my reservation.He also collected my flight details and made my pick up from the airport quite comfortable . Its proximity to the heart of Delhi and the Metro Station make it highly accessible. The staff are extremely helpful and service was prompt at the room. I would rate its amongst the best in its category.

A nice place to stay in Delhi

There are hundreds of hotels in this area of Delhi, but I think this is a good mid-price option. It was clean and very close to the train station, which is important for catching early trains. The staff was also helpful in telling us how to avoid would-be con-men in the train station.
