JAMA MASJID
Built during the reign of the Mughal Emperor Shah Jahan, one of the largest mosques in India, the Jama Masjid's large courtyard, onion domes and central tank are built of red sandstone and white marble in the Indo-Islamic style.
RAJGHAT
The place where the remains of Mahatma Gandhi have been placed is set amidst exotic trees and fountains.

RASHTRAPATI BHAWAN
Formerly the Vice-regal Lodge, the building is the presidential palace. It was completed in 1929 at a cost of 12, 53,000 pound sterling and has 340 rooms.
INDIA GATE
Situated on Rajpath, in the center of Delhi, this 42-meter high arch, was designed by Edwin Lutyens, in memory of Indian soldiers who sacrificed their lives during the First World War. Their names can be seen inscribed on the arch. The Amar Jawan Jyoti, an eternal flame, burns in the memory of martyrs, beneath the shelter of the arch, which is surrounded by green lawns, fountains and water bodies - an evergreen picnic zone in the heart of central Delhi.
HUMAYUN'S TOMB
Built by Humayun's wife, Hamida Begum, in 1556, after Humayun's death, this elegantly proportioned tomb, set on a platform amidst a garden, is believed to have been influenced by the design of Taj Mahal.
BAHAI TEMPLE KNOWN AS LOTUS TEMPLE
This aesthetically designed monument, built in the shape of a lotus is commonly known as Lotus Temple. This white marble structure is set amidst lakes and green lawns. It is a serene house of meditation, that doesn’t house idols and offers complete silence, so all can meditate in peace.
QUTAB MINAR
Built during the reign of Sultan Qutub-ud-din Aibak in 1199 A.D., this 72.5 m high pillar is a symbol of the Delhi Sultanate. The ruins of Kila Rai Pithora, the fort of Prithviraj Chauhan, can be seen near it, well as an amazing iron pillar from Gupta times which has not yet rusted.
SAFDARJANG'S TOMB
Built by Nawab Shauja-ud-Daula in 1753 to preserve the remains of his father, this tomb has been described as "the last flicker in the lamp of Mughal architecture'.
JANTAR MANTAR
The first of five observatories built by Sawai Jai Singh II of Jaipur (1699-1743), the structure has huge masonry instruments.

Around 10 km from Agra, lays Sikandra, the mausoleum of Emperor Akbar. This structure offers a unique combination of styles borrowed from Hindu, Christian, Islamic, Buddhist and even Jain architectural conventions.

The day begins with breakfast, followed by a visit to both Old and New Delhi – Rajghat, Shanti Van and Shakti Sthal that are memorials dedicated to Mahatma Gandhi, Jawaharlal Nehru and Indira Gandhi, respectively. Shah Jahan’s imposing citadel, the Red Fort, was built at the eastern extremity of the walled city along the river front. Jami Masjid, the biggest mosque of the city, was also raised by Shah Jahan. Break for lunch in a good restaurant in the vicinity. By afternoon the tour proceeds towards other city attractions. The 12th century stone tower Qutab Minar, an Islamic landmark, was built in 12th century by Qutbuddin Aibak and remains the tallest in history till today. In the compound is the fascinating 4th century Iron Pillar that is as good as new. The 340-roomed Vice-regal lodge is raised atop Raisina Hills and is today known as the Rashtrapati Bhawan, where the President of India resides.
The beauty of this building is enhanced by the Rajpath axis and the symmetrical location of India Gate’s World War I memorial arch. The Laxmi Narayan Temple is considered very pious among the Hindus. The Bahai Lotus Temple is a spectacular modern landmark. The newly constructed Akshardham Temple on the river bed is pious and an amazing architectural piece. This morning after breakfast drive to Pushkar. En-route you will pass by many Rajasthani villages. En-route, you will visit Ajmer, the holy city of Muslims and Dargah Khwaja Sahib, one of the holiest Muslim shrines in the country. From here, drive to Pushkar. Upon arrival, check into your hotel. By afternoon visit Pushkar, 14 km North West from Ajmer and at an average elevation of 510 meters (1673 feet) It is one of the five sacred dhams (pilgrimage sites for devout Hindus). It is often called “Tirth Raj”- the king of pilgrimage sites, and has in recent years become a popular destination for foreign tourists. Pushkar is one of the oldest cities of India. It lies on the shore of Pushkar Lake. The date of its origin is not known, but legend associates Lord Brahma with its creation.
It is mentioned that Brahma performed penance here for 60,000 years to have a glimpse of Vishnu. Places to visit : BRAHMA TEMPLE Jagatpita Brahma Mandir is a Hindu temple situated in Pushkar in the Indian state of Rajasthan, close to the sacred Pushkar Lake to which its legend has an indelible link. The temple is one of the very few existing temples dedicated to the Hindu creator god Brahma in India and remains the most prominent among them. Overnight stay in Pushkar.

DAY 8: UDAIPUR CITY TOUR
This morning after breakfast, be prepared for a city tour of Udaipur, also known as the city of Lakes. It is the historic capital of the former kingdom of Mewar in Rajasthan. Lake Pichola , Fateh Sagar Lake , Udai Sagar and Swaroop Sagar in the city are considered some of the most beautiful lakes in the state. Places to visit: CITY PALACE. City Palaceis a palace complex in Udaipur in the Indian state of Rajasthan. It was built by Maharana Udai Mirza Singh as the capital of the Sisodia Rajput clan in 1559, after he moved from Chittor. It is located on the Eastern bank of the Lake Pichola and has several palaces built within its complex. Udaipur was the historical capital of the former kingdom of Mewar in the Rajputana Agency and its last capital as well. JAGDISH TEMPLE is one of the famous temples of Udaipur. Located in the city palace complex of Udaipur, this temple is made in the Indo Aryan style of architecture.
In 1651, Jagdish temple was built by Maharana Jagat Singh, who ruled Udaipur during 1628-53. The temple is dedicated to Lord Vishnu (Laxmi Narayan), the preserver of the universe. JAG MANDIR is a palace built on an island in the Lake Pichola . It is also called the "Lake Garden Palace". Its construction is credited to three Maharanas of the Sisodia Rajputs of Mewar kingdom. It is named as "Jagat Mandir" in honour of the last named Maharana Jagat Singh. SAHELION KI BARI is one the most beautiful gardens and a major tourist destination in Udaipur. The garden is famous for its lush green lawns, marble art and fountains. English translation of saheliyon ki bari means “Garden of maids”. By evening return to your hotel. Overnight stay in Udaipur.
DAY 9: UDAIPUR TO JODHPUR VIA RANAKPUR
This morning after breakfast drive to Jodhpur. Enroute you will pass by many Rajasthani villages & visit Ranakpur, famous for Jain Temples. The Ranakpur Jain Temples were built during the reign of the liberal and gifted monarch Rana Kumbha in the 15th century. An enormous basement covers 48,000 sq. feet area. There are four subsidiary shrines, twenty-four pillared halls and eligibly domes supported by over four hundred columns. Visit Muchhal Mahaveer Temple- The distinctive feature of this Jain temple is the statue of Lord Mahavira with a moustache. From here proceed to Jodhpur. Check into your hotel. DAY 10: JODHPUR CITY TOUR
This morning after breakfast take a city tour of Jodhpur. Jodhpur is the second largest city in the Indian state of Rajasthan. It was formerly the seat of a princely state of the same name, the capital of the kingdom known as Marwar. Jodhpur is a popular tourist destination, featuring many palaces, forts and temples, set in the stark landscape of the Thar Desert. MEHRANGARH FORT: The fort is situated on a lofty height, 400 feet (122 m) above the city, and is enclosed by imposing thick walls. Inside its boundaries there are several palaces, which are known for their intricate carvings and sprawling courtyards. A meandering road leads to and from the city below. Battle scars of cannon ball hits by attacking armies of Jaipur can still be seen on the second gate. To the left of the fort is the Chhatri of Kirat Singh Soda, a soldier who fell on the spot defending the Mehrangarh Fort. JASWANT THADA:-The monument in its entirety is built out of intricately carved sheets of marble.
These stones are extremely thin and polished so that they emit a warm glow when the sun’s rays dance across their surface. Within this cenotaph there are also two more tombs. Jaswant Thada is a traditional cremation ground of Jodhpur rulers. The grounds also include exquisitely carved gazebos, a beautiful multitiered garden and a small lake. Umaid Bhavan Palace, located in Jodhpur in Rajasthan, India is one of the world’s largest private residences. A part of the palace is managed by Taj Hotels. Named after Maharaja Umaid Singh, grandfather of the present owners of the palace, this monument has 347 rooms and it serves as the principal residence of the erstwhile Jodhpur royal family. Umaid Bhavan palace was called Chittar Palace during its contraction due to its location on Chittar Hill, the highest point in Jodhpur. The foundation of the building was laid on 18th November, 1929 by Maharaja Umaid Singh and the construction work was completed in 1943.

Visit Sonar Fort housing a fourth of city's residents, Patwon Ki Haveli-one of the most exquisite havelis with a beautifully latticed facade, Salim Singh ki Haveli- just three centuries old and is still lived in. Its arched roof is held up by well executed brackets in the form of peacocks. Nathmalji ki Haveli built by two architect brothers is also worth admiring. You may also take a walking tour through markets. In the evening proceed to sand dunes & enjoy a camel safari and a spectacular sunset. By late evening, return to Jaisalmer. DAY 13: JAISALMER TO BIKANER

After freshening up, proceed to visit Junagarh, which is a fort in the city of Bikaner. The fort was originally called Chintamani and was renamed Junagarh or “Old fort” in the early 20th century.
